Since September 2026, ElevenLabs has a connector that works inside Claude. It can make voiceovers, music, sound effects, images and video from your chat. That means you can plan and produce a first-cut ad for a small brand without jumping between four apps. Here is the setup, a prompt for each stage, and the rules for AI ads in India.
What you need
A Claude account. Connectors from Claude's directory work on all plans, including free, on the web and desktop app. You can't add connectors from the iOS or Android app.
An ElevenLabs account. The free plan gives 10,000 credits a month and lists image generation. On the pricing page, "Image & Video" and the commercial licence appear from the Starter plan ($6 a month). Credits are shared across everything you make. See ElevenLabs pricing.
Clear product photos and the real facts about your product: price, ingredients, claims you can prove.
Step by step
1. Connect ElevenLabs to Claude. In a chat, click +, then Manage connectors > Browse connectors. Find ElevenLabs, click Connect and sign in. It uses a secure login, so you don't need an API key. Then in your chat, open + > Connectors and switch it on.
2. Write the brief and script in Claude. Fill in your real product details.
I run a small skincare brand. Write a 20-second Instagram Reel ad for our [product name], a [type, e.g. vitamin C face serum] priced at ₹[price].
Audience: [e.g. working women aged 22-35 in Indian cities].
Only use these facts, and do not invent results or reviews: [list real ingredients and claims].
Give me: a 3-second hook, 4 short scenes with what we see and what the voiceover says, and a call to action. Keep the voiceover under 50 words, in simple Hinglish.3. Make the product visuals.
Use ElevenLabs to generate 3 vertical (9:16) product images for this ad: [product] on a clean bathroom shelf in soft morning light, a close-up of the serum texture on a fingertip, and the bottle with fresh oranges in the background. No text in the images. Keep the bottle shape and colour the same as this description: [describe your packaging].Tip: if you have real product photos, use those instead and only generate backgrounds. Generated bottles may not match your actual pack.
4. Make the voiceover.
Use ElevenLabs to list a few warm, natural Indian-English female voices, pick the best fit, and generate the voiceover from the script above. Pace it to fit 20 seconds.5. Add music.
Use ElevenLabs to generate a 20-second calm, upbeat background track with no vocals, suitable for a skincare ad.6. Make short video clips (needs a plan with video).
Use ElevenLabs to generate a 5-second vertical video of [scene 1 from the script], slow camera push-in, soft natural light, no people's faces, no text.ElevenLabs says everything you make through the connector lands in your ElevenCreative workspace, so you can find and download it there.
7. Put it together. Download the clips, images, voice and music, and edit them in a video app such as Canva or Instagram's Edits app. Add captions and your logo.
8. Do a final check before posting. Ask Claude to review it.
Review this ad script and caption against Indian advertising rules. Flag any claim that sounds medical, any result I can't prove, and anything that looks like a fake customer review. Suggest safer wording.
[paste script and caption]Good to know
Label AI content. Meta asks you to disclose photorealistic video or realistic-sounding audio made or changed with AI, and may penalise accounts that don't. India's IT Rules amendment (in force from 20 February 2026) requires big platforms to label synthetic content and to ask users to declare it.
No fake testimonials. A "UGC-style" ad with an AI person pretending to be a real customer is risky. ASCI's 2026 draft guidelines treat fake endorsements and testimonials as not allowed, even with a label. Virtual presenters and AI product demos need a clear label like "Video created using AI". Make it a brand ad, not a fake review.
Skincare claims need proof. Don't show AI before-and-after results.
Commercial use. On the pricing page, the commercial licence is listed from the Starter plan, not the free plan. Check this before using the ad for a paying client.
"Free" is partly true. You can try images and voice on free credits. Video generation is listed with paid plans.
Quality varies. Treat the output as a first draft. Small text and product labels in AI images often come out wrong.
