A reel about this course opens with a claim that UPSC has started talking about agentic AI and data science. No official UPSC notice on that turned up in our research, so treat it as unconfirmed. What can be checked is the course itself: what it teaches, what it costs, and what the "placement support" really means.
What you need
Eligibility: undergraduate students and diploma holders. This version of the programme is built for students, not working professionals.
About 8 hours a week alongside college, plus live online classes on weekday evenings (8:00 to 9:30 PM).
Budget: see the fee details below.
Step by step
1. Open the programme page. The course is the Elite Program in AI & Data Science, run by Intellipaat with a certificate from iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee and Microsoft. Programme page: intellipaat.com.
2. Pick your track. The page lists two versions. One is for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students and runs 9 months. The other is for 4th year students and runs 5 months.
3. Check the curriculum. It starts with Python, SQL and statistics, then covers machine learning, generative AI and LLMs, and prompt engineering. The agentic AI module covers foundations and architecture, memory, tools and RAG, building agents, and deployment. It ends with a 2-month capstone project. The page also lists 20+ projects, including a RAG chatbot and an LLM-based resume screener.
4. Know what you get. A certificate from iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, a Microsoft certification and Learn badge, and a 2-day campus immersion at the iHub. The page mentions Azure AI and Copilot Studio as part of the Microsoft side.
5. Apply. Admissions are through Intellipaat's site, where you speak to a course advisor.
Good to know
This is a paid course sold by Intellipaat, an education company. iHUB DivyaSampark is a Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Roorkee supported by the Department of Science and Technology. The certificate is co-issued, but the programme is Intellipaat's.
Fees listed on the page: about Rs 45,000 upfront, or Rs 3,999 a month for 12 months, plus a Rs 2,000 seat fee. The page says the fees are non-refundable. Confirm the current price with the advisor.
Placement support is not a job guarantee. The page says so itself. It runs for 18 months and needs at least 65 percent attendance and a pass in the Placement Readiness Test.
The "3000+ companies" figure on the page refers to companies that have hired Intellipaat learners (it says 3100+). It is not a list of employers committed to hiring you.
The official student ID card and T-shirt are optional and cost an extra Rs 500 on this page, so they are not free with enrolment.
MCP and multi-agent systems are not named in this programme's curriculum on the page. They appear in other iHUB programmes, such as the Post Graduate Certificate in Agentic and RAG Systems, which is aimed at working professionals. Check the syllabus for the version you want.
The page shows an application close date of 10 May 2026 but also says admissions are ongoing for 2026. Ask the advisor for the current cohort dates.
