ChatGPT's Plugins directory lets you add outside tools to your chats. These four cover web research, video, job search and AI images. Here is what each one actually does, how to set it up, and a prompt to try.
What you need
A ChatGPT account. OpenAI says the plugin directory is open across plans, but whether you can install a given plugin depends on your plan, workspace, role and region. OpenAI Help
A free account with each tool you connect: Firecrawl, Higgsfield and Indeed.
For Remotion: the ChatGPT desktop app with Codex, plus Node.js on your computer.
Step by step
How to install any plugin (per OpenAI's help page):
Open Plugins in ChatGPT. If your account shows Apps instead, use that.
Search for the tool and open it. Check what it includes.
Click Install plugin, then Connect and sign in to that tool's account if asked.
In a chat, call it with @ToolName, or open + > More.
No prompt can install plugins for you. You click install and approve each connection yourself.
1. Firecrawl: read and pull data from websites
Firecrawl is an official ChatGPT plugin. It can search the web, scrape a page (including PDFs and DOCX) into clean text or structured data, crawl a whole site, and watch pages for changes. You can start free with no credit card.

2. Remotion: make videos with code
Remotion builds videos from React code. Its plugin runs in Codex inside the ChatGPT desktop app: go to the Plugins tab, search "Remotion", install, start a project and type $remotion.
It does not take any video you drop in and edit it automatically. It is best at code-made videos: animated titles, explainers, and timed captions from a transcript. Fine cuts are still faster in a normal editor.

3. Indeed: job search inside ChatGPT
Indeed's app lets you search Indeed jobs in plain language, see company overviews and ratings, and use your Indeed profile to tailor results.
Another correction: it does not apply to jobs for you, let alone "hundreds every hour". Indeed's own help page says you are sent to Indeed to start each application. It uses your Indeed profile, not a resume you upload in the chat.

4. Higgsfield: images and video in chat
The Higgsfield plugin generates AI images and videos inside ChatGPT. It writes a full prompt from your short request, picks a model, and shows the result in the chat. Every generation uses Higgsfield credits. For example, Higgsfield lists a 15-second 1080p video at 270 credits.

After installing, paste this to check each connection works:
Check my installed plugins. For each of Firecrawl, Remotion, Indeed and Higgsfield, tell me if it is connected, what it can do for me, and give me one example task. If one isn't connected, tell me what to click to fix it.Good to know
Costs. Firecrawl and Higgsfield have usage limits and paid tiers, and Higgsfield charges credits per generation. Check pricing before big jobs.
Access you grant. Each plugin asks for permissions when you connect. Read them, and disconnect anything you stop using.
Region. Indeed's announcement and help page don't list supported countries, so we couldn't confirm it works for India.
AI labels. Platforms like Instagram require an AI label on realistic AI images and videos, especially of people.
