An "agent" here is simple: a prompt that works, the right app connections, and a schedule. Below are 20 for a small business, in six groups. Start with two or three.
What you need
A Claude account. The free plan is fine for drafting. For connectors and scheduled tasks, use Cowork in the Claude desktop app, which needs Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Pro was listed at Rs 2,033 a month plus GST in July 2026.
Connectors you add once in Cowork: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack.
Optional: n8n and its AI Agent node, for agents that must fire instantly, like on a new form lead.
Step by step
Set up once. Open Cowork in the Claude desktop app, connect a work folder, then connect Gmail, Calendar and Drive from the Customize sidebar. Create a business brief every agent can read:
Interview me with 10 short questions about my business: what I sell, prices, ideal customer, city, tone of voice, top FAQs, payment terms. Then save the answers as business.md in this folder.Make an agent repeat. Get a prompt working in a chat first. Then type
/schedule(or open Scheduled and click New Task) and set how often it runs. Tasks run while the desktop app is open.Pick your agents. Each prompt below assumes business.md exists. Replace the [brackets].

Draft first. Keep every agent on "draft only" until you trust it.
No spam. Only message people who contacted you or opted in. For Instagram auto-replies, use Meta's own tools.
Check the maths. AI can get totals and tax wrong. Keep your accountant in the loop for invoices and GST.
People decisions stay human. Use the recruiting agent to draft, not to reject candidates.
