Big-brand ad shots like a product on a plane or on giant city billboards can now be made from one product photo in Google Flow. Short reels sometimes present these as "slash commands", but Flow has no such commands. What works is uploading your product as an ingredient and using a clear prompt. Here are ten full prompts that do exactly that.
What you need
Google Flow at flow.google. It is available in India for users aged 18 and over. Hindi is supported, but Google recommends English prompts for best results.
Credits. Everyone gets 50 free Flow credits a day. Google AI plans add monthly credits (Plus 200, Pro 1,000, Ultra 10,000 or 25,000). A Veo 3.1 Fast video costs 20 credits, Veo 3.1 Lite costs 10, and Gemini Omni Flash costs 7 to 15 depending on length.
A clean product photo. Google's own tip: product references work best on a plain or segmented background.
Step by step
Open Flow, start a new project, click the model name in the prompt box, then choose Video and Ingredients.
Pick a model that supports ingredients: Gemini Omni Flash, Veo 3.1 Fast or Veo 3.1 Lite. Veo 3.1 Quality does not support ingredients.
Upload your product photo. You can drag it in, click Add, or type
@and pick the uploaded asset by name. Name the asset "Product" so the prompts below read naturally, or replace "the product" with@YourAssetName.Paste one of the prompts below. Replace anything in [BRACKETS].
Generate, check that the label, shape and colour match your real product, and regenerate if they drift.
1. Airplane wrap
A large commercial passenger jet taxis slowly on a sunny runway. Its entire
fuselage is wrapped in a bold advertisement featuring the product, shown
exactly as in the reference image with the same shape, colours and label,
plus the words "[YOUR BRAND]". No real airline names or logos. Low tracking
shot alongside the plane, then a slow push-in on the product artwork.
Bright daylight, cinematic, realistic.2. Escalator steps
A modern shopping mall escalator moving upward. Each step's riser is printed
with a large image of the product, exactly as in the reference image, so the
product appears to climb as the steps rise. Shoppers ride past, slightly out
of focus. Camera starts low at the base and tilts up. Clean, bright retail
lighting, realistic ad style.3. Giant city billboards at night
A busy city square at night surrounded by huge digital billboards, in the
style of Times Square. Several screens switch at once to show the product,
exactly as in the reference image, with the text "[YOUR BRAND]". No other
brands or logos visible. Crowds and yellow taxis in the foreground. Slow
upward crane shot, neon reflections on wet streets, cinematic.4. Giant product on a city street (3D billboard)
A curved corner LED billboard above a city street. The product, exactly as in
the reference image, appears to pop out of the screen in 3D and float above
the street before settling back into the frame. Pedestrians look up.
Afternoon light, realistic, smooth single camera move from street level.5. Metro train wrap
An elevated metro train glides into a station at golden hour. The full side
of the train is wrapped with the product, exactly as in the reference image,
and the words "[YOUR BRAND]". No real transit logos. Camera fixed on the
platform as the train slows to a stop. Warm light, realistic, ad style.6. Building projection
At night, the product, exactly as in the reference image, is projected in
huge scale onto the facade of a tall modern building. The projection fades
in with light trails, then the product slowly rotates. A small crowd watches
from a plaza. Wide shot pushing in slowly. Cinematic, high contrast.7. Hot air balloon
Early morning over green hills. A hot air balloon rises into frame, its
envelope printed with a giant image of the product, exactly as in the
reference image. Soft mist, golden sunrise, slow aerial orbit around the
balloon. Calm, premium, realistic.8. Stadium screen
A packed sports stadium at night. The giant main screen and the LED boards
around the field all switch to the product, exactly as in the reference
image, with the text "[YOUR BRAND]". No real teams, leagues or sponsor logos.
Camera sweeps over the crowd towards the screen. Floodlights, energetic,
realistic.9. Bus shelter poster comes alive
A city bus shelter on a rainy evening. The backlit poster shows the product,
exactly as in the reference image. Raindrops on the glass. The product
slowly lifts out of the poster, rotates once in mid-air, and settles back in.
Close-up, shallow depth of field, cinematic.10. Hero podium reveal
A minimal studio with a round white podium. The product, exactly as in the
reference image, rises from below onto the podium as soft light sweeps
across it and a few [COLOUR] petals fall around it. Slow 180-degree orbit
around the product. Clean premium ad look, realistic reflections, 8 seconds.Good to know
No slash commands. Google's Flow help pages describe
@mentions for assets, avatars and voices, not "/" commands. These shots come from your prompt.Keep it your brand only. Don't put real airline, transit, league or other company logos in your video. That can create trademark problems and suggest a partnership that doesn't exist.
Don't pass it off as a real ad placement. A video of your product on a real plane or real billboards is a creative concept. If you post it, make clear it is AI-made so customers aren't misled.
Text may come out garbled. AI video often warps small text. If your brand name looks off, remove it from the prompt and add it later in an editor.
Clip length is short. Ingredient videos are 8 seconds on Veo 3.1 Fast and Lite, and up to 10 seconds on Omni Flash. Join clips in Flow's editor for a longer ad.
Costs and features can change. Check current credit costs in Flow's settings before a big batch.
